Last week Hinsdale South lost to Addison Trail 14-13; Leyden lost to Downers Grove South 42-25

Outlook Losing 21-20 in triple overtime to Hinsdale South last year ultimately cost the Eagles a playoff shot. And they can't afford a repeat in what coach Tom Cerasani called "a must-win for us if we want to be in the mix for the playoffs." Senior DE Jeff Cascella had a big game last week, senior RB Angel Maldonado continued his success on the ground and a good sign was a breakout game from QB David Rose. But Leyden was hurt by 2 blocked punts and 3 botched PAT attempts. "We need to shore those up," Cerasani said. Hinsdale South has also lost to Oak Park and Romeoville.
