Bartlett

• Casharae A. Bell, 17, of the 900 block of West Bartlett Road, Bartlett, was arrested around 7:55 p.m. Sept. 8 at her home and charged with local ordinance for fighting. Her court date is Sept. 24.

• Thieves stole several gift cards, value $70, out of a desk in an office at Eastview Middle School, 321 Oak Ave., Aug. 31.

• Vandals scratched a vehicle at 701 W. Schick Road Sept. 4. Damage was estimated at $500.

• Vandals damaged the windshield on a 2002 Acura in a restaurant lot at 1175 W. Lake St. Sept. 6. Damage was estimated at $500.

• Burglars stole a purse valued at $425 out of an unlocked car on Longford Road Sept. 6.

• Burglars stole a purse valued at $410 out of an unlocked vehicle on San Francisco Terrace Sept. 7.

• Ciara M. Zamora, 19, of the 900 block of Charlela Lane, Elk Grove Village, and Renata Rodriguez, 19, of the 1800 block of Williamsburg Drive, Hoffman Estates, were arrested around 2:40 a.m. Sept. 6 at Lake Street and Oak Avenue and charged with local ordinance consumption of alcohol by a minor. Their court date is Oct. 14. • Wesley J. Miletello, 32, of the 1300 block of Portsmouth, Westchester, was arrested Sept. 6 on the 200 block of South Main Street and charged with battery and resisting and obstructing a peace officer. His court date is Oct. 21. • Thieves stole two Frisbee golf ending pins, valued at $800, from the course at Sunset Park Sept. 3. • Christina M. Lopresti, 20, of the 200 block of Ewell Court, Bartlett, was arrested around 4:45 p.m. Sept. 5 at 1040 Stearns Road and charged with local ordinance retail theft. Her court date is Oct. 14. • Troy M. Murray, 18, of the 5N400 block of Carriage Way, Bartlett, was arrested around 4:15 a.m. Sept. 6 at 701 W. Schick Road and charged with local ordinance consumption of alcohol by a minor. He also was wanted on an active DuPage County warrant. • Mark A. Kumicki, 33, of the 1000 block of Valewood, Bartlett, was arrested around 7 a.m. Aug. 23 at his home and charged with aggravated battery after an incident at Foster and Independence.

Hanover Park

• William T. Homatas, 24, of the 4N300 block of Lake Eleanor, Wayne, was arrested around 3:40 p.m. Sept. 7 and charged with local ordinance possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Thieves stole a cell phone on the 7500 block of Barrington Road around 6:20 p.m. Sept. 10.

• Thieves stole a cell phone out of a home on the 2400 block of Leslie around 9 a.m. Sept. 10.

• Juan M. Amezquilta-Mendez, 33, and Juan C. Rodriguez, 40, both of the 2400 block of Leslie, Hanover Park, were arrested around 3:25 p.m. Sept. 7 near their homes and charged with local ordinance possession/consumption of alcohol.

• Ruben Martinez-Arrequin, 48, of the 6800 block of Catalpa, Hanover Park, was arrested around 5:05 p. m. Sept. 7 and charged with local ordinance possession/consumption of alcohol.

• Agustin R. Ramos, 24, of the 2300 block of Glendale Terrace, Hanover Park, was arrested near his home and charged with battery and local ordinance consumption of alcohol.

• Marco E. Hernandez, 29, of the 1300 block of Kingsbury, Hanover Park, was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Sept. 6 on the 1500 block of Irving Park Road and charged with a traffic violation and possession of marijuana.

• Rebecca R. Colovos, 33, of the 200 block of Carver, Schaumburg, was arrested around 5:15 p.m. Sept. 6 at 7580 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

Hoffman Estates

• Blake Robert Heyman, 19, of the 2000 block of Quaker Hollow Lane, Streamwood, was arrested around 6:35 p.m. Sept. 8 at Roselle Road and I-90 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is Sept. 28.

• Steven John Harper, 24, of the 1200 block of Olde Farm Road, Schaumburg, was arrested around 3:10 a.m. Sept. 5 after a traffic stop at Route 58 and Valley Lake Drive and charged with illegal possession/transportation of alcoholic liquor, a traffic violation, and driving under the influence. His court date is Oct. 14.

• Orlando Valdez, 27, of the 5400 block of Northwest Highway, Chicago, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. Sept. 4 at Route 59 and I-90 and charged with traffic violations and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is Sept. 25.

• Burglars stole two electric concrete hammers, an electric router, and a saw and drill kit, all in boxes, out of a garage on the 700 block of Orange Lane between 9 p.m. Sept. 5 and 8 a.m. Sept. 6. Value was estimated at $1,200.

• Thieves stole a wallet with $480 in cash out of a purse in the janitor's room at AT&T, 2000 ATT Center Drive, between 4 and 6 p.m. Sept. 4.

• Burglars forced open the front door at a home on the 1500 block of Poplar Creek Drive between 6:33 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sept. 8 and stole two TVs and a laptop computer and ransacked a jewelry box in an upstairs bedroom.

• Burglars broke into a 2008 Chevrolet van on the 1000 block of Atlantic Avenue between Sept. 3 and 9 and stole a GPS unit. Loss was estimated at $350.
