How did this propangandize kids?
"Write a letter about how to help the president." Would someone explain to me how this is propagandizing children?
1. It was a suggestion, not an order. 2. Obama was elected to be President of the United States, not the Democratic Party; he has a right - even an obligation - to reach out to kids. 3. He was not talking to them about abortions, taxes, health care, etc.; he talked to them about the importance of education. 4. Presidents Bush and Reagan both talked to school kids and, while there was some protest from political types, it was much more low key and no one pulled their kids out of school. 5. Teachers might even have appreciated having a ready-made lesson plan (again suggested, not demanded).
After all the media coverage this has gotten, if anyone complains to me about the media being biased to the left again, I will simply laugh.
