Dist. 200 should be ashamed of itself
Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 has decided not to allow the students to hear the President of the United States talk to them about the value of education. We have a profound problem with respect here.
The excuse was that they did not have a preview of his words, so they could not allow this event to happen. I have a huge problem with an institution of learning whose job is to teach students to think, not allowing the thought process to happen.
I have read a preview of the President's words; how come District 200 didn't know he would speak about the value and importance of education and learning?
I don't deem this to be a subversive subject. The administration should be ashamed and embarrassed about this decision.
