New dessert menu at Naperville's Hugo's

Hugo's Frog Bar & Fish House in Naperville is introducing a new dessert menu. In celebration, Hugo's is offering its signature Carrot Cake Cupcakes for just $1 apiece through Sunday, Sept. 13. Some of the sweet items on Hugo's new dessert menu include Muddy Bottom Pie, Chocolate Mousse Pie, Berry Shortcake and Creme Brulee.

Help celebrate the 30th anniversary of Kappy's Restaurant & Pancake House in Morton Grove at Kappy's Pig Roast and Apple Pie Bake-Off. Guests can dig into Kappy's famous barbecue pulled pork sandwiches while they wait to see which of the bake-off participants will win first prize for the tastiest homemade apple pie.

Shaw's Crab House in Schaumburg is now offering youth, ages 12 and younger, a free Sunday Brunch. The brunch includes fare such as make-your-own waffle and omelet stations, carving stations with roast turkey and beef tenderloin, a seafood bar and a sweets table with desserts like chocolate cupcakes, key lime pie, fruits and candies.
