Same-sex wedding announcements OK

I am writing to thank your editorial board for continuing with the policy of printing same-sex wedding announcements. A same-sex wedding that is legally valid is just as much community news as any other wedding and thousands of newspapers across the country are now publishing them.

I hope that the Daily Herald does not succumb to those who would ban these announcements.
