New charges in Elburn teen's heroin overdose death

New charges have been filed against a Maple Park man accused of dumping an Elburn teen's body after his apparent drug overdose.

Nathan L. Green, 22, now faces two counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance in connection with the December 2007 death of 17-year-old Michael York, court records show.

According to charging documents, Green is accused of supplying heroin to York, and a co-defendant in the case, the night his body was left in a Chicago alley.

Green is one of three charged with obstructing justice for abandoning York after his suspected overdose at party in a St. Charles mansion, authorities said. The others are Jordan D. Billek, 18, of Maple Park and Lindsey L. Parker, 23, of St. Charles.

Green initially was charged with just one count of heroin delivery, accusing him of supplying the drug to York. He is now charged with supplying it to Parker as well.

Green, whose next court date is Oct. 1, remained in the Kane County jail Thursday on $100,000 bond.
