Sotomayor isn't the first Hispanic justice

With all the hoopla over Sonia Sotomayor's supposedly being the first Hispanic nominee for the U.S. Supreme Court, I suggest that people reread their history books and look up Benjamin Nathan Cardozo, a U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice who served from 1932 to 1938. He came from a Spanish and Sephardic Jewish background.

And, to those who say he wasn't Hispanic, his family ancestors came from Spanish heritage. Now, how can he not be Hispanic? Of course, those saying this are the usual always liberal and suspect PC police who proclaim we should do what they say and ignore the overwhelming facts.

So, to all the liberals who think that Barack Obama has nominated the first Hispanic person to the U.S. Supreme Court, well you're wrong!

Oh, and interestingly enough, Cardozo was nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court by Herbert Hoover, a Republican. Benjamin Cardozo was chosen to replace Oliver Wendell Holmes.

Fascinating how liberals like to rewrite history or even invent It. Let's see, Gore Invented the Internet, FDR saved us from the Great Depression, and Sonia Sotomayor is a mainstream judge. Regarding the last statement, ask Frank Ricci about Sonia's so-called mainstream views. Talk about lack of empathy from a judge nominated to the highest court of the land for her supposed empathy.
