Two new models finished at Wauconda community
Liberty Lakes, a new home community set in Wauconda's natural landscape, offers spacious single-family homes that easily adapt to the needs of growing families.
The community by Town and Country Homes includes parks, natural ponds, wetland preserves and dedicated open spaces with mature trees. It also has easy access to Lake County's Millennium Bike Trail for walking, running, horseback riding or cross-country skiing.
Buyers can choose from 14 Congressional series designs, one of which is a ranch plan, and each with three to four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and two- or three-car attached garage.
Two model homes - The Edgar and The Daley - introduce the final phase of this community with professional interiors by MI Designs in Las Vegas.
"We know the time is right for buyers to get serious about a new home purchase because there are so many incentives that make investing in a new home a smart move right now," said Ray Blankenship, vice president of operations for Town and Country Homes. "With our debut of these two stunning models, we know buyers will react favorably to the value they represent."
The Edgar is priced from $259,995 and features 3,238 square feet, four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and three-car attached garage.
This home showcases a classic contemporary interior with clean lines accessorized with a modern edge. Hardwood flooring covers most of the first floor, which features contemporary artwork and photography and lots of silver accent pieces.
In the living room, four chairs circle an ottoman, a nice arrangement for conversation or a drink before dinner, while the dining table topped with elegant place settings sits ready to serve guests. Both rooms feature light gray walls and slate blue silk draperies.
An arched half wall separates the living-dining rooms from casual spaces to the rear of the home. A brick fireplace with media niche highlights the family room where there's plenty of seating. Here white draperies dress the windows.
The gourmet kitchen with island features stainless steel appliances, Merillat cabinetry, glass tile backsplash and walk-in pantry. A table for six sits in the breakfast area that accesses a deck.
A rear corner den with built-ins and contemporary paintings offers a private spot for serious work. Adjacent to the den sits a half bath with pedestal sink.
On the second floor, the loft is outfitted as a multifunctional room with media and plasma TV and two sofas on one side and bookcases and game table on the other. Paint stripes on the walls add a touch of fun and whimsy.
A coffered ceiling and slate blue walls highlight the master suite, which includes his-and-hers walk-in closets, luxurious silk bedding and white draperies. The private bath features dual sinks, tub, walk-in shower with clear glass door, private commode and linen closet.
Three secondary bedrooms include a boy's room with a hockey theme, girl's room with hand-painting on the walls and a guest room with black furnishings and white sheers.
A corner bonus room offers many options while a full hall bath and laundry room with cabinets and sink complete this level.
The Daley, priced from $226,995, features 2,396 square feet with four bedrooms, 21/2 baths and two-car attached garage.
Furnished with a beach cottage ambience, this home features organic, earth friendly products. Natural woods and woven elements are shown throughout the home with an ebony, kiwi and crisp white color scheme.
A ceramic tile foyer with guest closet leads into the living room where kiwi accent throw pillows top two white love seats. In this plan, the stairway separates the living and dining rooms from the casual living areas in the rear of the home.
A full height stone fireplace with windows on either side highlights the family room, furnished with a sofa, love seat and entertainment center.
The kitchen features black appliances, 42-inch cherry cabinetry with crown molding, and corner walk-in pantry. A rectangular table topped with place mats furnishes the breakfast area.
Upstairs the loft features green walls with white hand-painted trees and birds. With built-in open shelving, this multipurpose space is a good spot for an in-home office.
Crown molding detail sets off the crisp, fresh feeling in the master suite where kiwi and white reign. A white shear patterned drapery dresses the windows while a chair offers a comfortable reading spot. The room includes walk-in and wardrobe closets.
The private bath features dual bowl vanity, soaking tub, walk-in shower with clear glass door and linen closet. Windows above the sinks allow in the light.
Secondary bedrooms include a playroom with built-ins for organizing games, books, dolls, crafts and puzzles; a young girl's room with green walls, black sheers and butterfly accents; and a nursery done in black and white.
A full hall bath and laundry room finish off this level.
