McHenry Co. man hurt in ATV crash

A McHenry County man was hurt Sunday afternoon after he lost control of an all-terrain vehicle near his home, sheriff's police said.
The 43-year-old man turned too sharply and overturned the vehicle about 4:30 p.m. on the 5200 block of Leeside Street, near his home in the McHenry area, police said.
He was unconscious when deputies arrived and was flown by emergency helicopter to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He regained consciousness, police said, and is expected to recover.
No tickets were issued.
