Bakery partners with Wolves
Vernon Hills-based Prairie City Bakery headquartered in Vernon Hills signed a multiyear marketing agreement with the Chicago Wolves. The bakery is now the "Official Cookie of the Chicago Wolves" and the exclusive cookie sold at the Allstate Arena. The cookies will be available at all Wolves home games, concerts and other events held at the arena. Bill Skeens founded the bakery 15 years ago in Libertyville. The company provides fully baked, thaw-and-sell bakery solutions to food service, convenience store and drugstore arenas nationwide to more than 25,000 accounts.
