Molex exec attacked at French plant

Molex Inc. Business Development Director Eric Doesburg was attacked last night by a gang of about 40 people outside the company's Villemur plant in France, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.

Doesburg canceled a planned meeting today with French Industry Minister Christian Estrosi to discuss the plan to close Villemur "for health reasons." The company also closed the plant, near Toulouse in southwest France, today, citing security issues.
