Recession workshop set

A program on "Surviving the Recession" will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at the DuPage County Administration Building, 421 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton. Concert series expanded

An extra concert has been added on Aug. 6 to Naperville Park District's Children's Lunch-Hour Entertainment series. "A Beach Party with Dave Rudolf" will include limbo, Hula-Hoop, a conga line and more while listening to tunes of Jimmy Buffet and other island-inspired artists. PADS adds two to board

DuPage PADS, or Public Action to Deliver Shelter, has named two new members to its board of directors. Elizabeth Cronin is owner and president of Dynamico Technologies. Eva Dahm is a spiritual life coach. PADS has been working since 1985 to end homelessness in DuPage County.
