Time is running out for kids photo contest entries

Budding photographers have just a few more days to gather their entries for West Chicago Gallery 200's second "Picture This" kids photography contest.

Student in grades one through eight may submit a photo that reflects the theme "My Favorite Things" to the West Chicago gallery by Sunday. Entry forms are available through the city's Web site, westchicago.org.

Submissions will be displayed throughout August at the gallery, 200 Main St., West Chicago. A reception and awards ceremony is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. Aug. 7 at the gallery.
