Mount Prospect church gets big donation

St. Emily's Catholic Church got a nice surprise last week when someone donated $10,000 to the Mount Prospect parish.

"Thank you to our generous anonymous donor for the $10,000 gift received at the parish office this week," according to a small note in the church's July 26 bulletin.

Another anonymous donor gave $1,000 to the school's tuition assistance fund, according to the bulletin.
