Lake County briefs
Island Lake may add massage
Island Lake is considering changing its sexually oriented business ordinance to include letting beauty salons offer massages. Representatives from two salons attended Thursday night's board meeting and said adding massage services would greatly increase revenue and clientele. The current ordinance states masseurs are only allowed in doctors' offices for medical purposes. The board came to a consensus that amending the ordinance to include massage services just in salons would be a good idea. It will to go the ordinance committee for review, and then be voted on by the board.
