Mt. Prospect man hurt in waverunner crash

A Mount Prospect man remains in serious condition after slamming his head into a handlebar on the personal watercraft he was riding on the Lake of the Ozarks Friday.
Lake of the Ozarks is in central Missouri, southwest of St. Louis.
Paul Klodzinski, 22, was taken to Lake Ozark Regional Hospital following the accident, officials said. He has since been transferred to a hospital in Springfield, officials said.
Klodzinski was jumping waves on the lake at 1:50 p.m. Friday when he hit his head before being thrown from the craft into the water.
He was wearing a life preserver, officials said.
