First Eagle Bank in Hanover Park bank robbed

The FBI and Hanover Park police are investigating a robbery at the First Eagle Bank on Lake Street early Saturday afternoon.

The robber fled that bank at 1040 E. Lake St., with an undetermined amount of cash. It's unclear whether a weapon was used, but no injuries were reported.

Hanover Park Village President Rodney Craig confirmed the robbery took place, but could not comment on details until the FBI completed its investigation.
