Shooting and Ballhandling Camp: Register by Monday, July 20 for program 9:15 -11:15 a.m. for grades 3-5, 11:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for grades 6-8, Monday to Friday, Aug. 3-7, Frederick School, 595 Friederick Road, Grayslake. This basketball program concentrates on the breakdown of the shooting technique. $170 for Grayslake residents, $213 for nonresidents. Lifeguard certification course: 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, July 20-Friday, July 24, South Barrington Park District, 3 Tennis Club Lane, South Barrington. Prepare to become a lifeguard at this American Red Cross aquatic facility. Upon successful completion of the 40-hour course, the student will hold a current CPR for the Professional Rescuer card; a Life Guard/First Aid card and an AED card.
