Summer fun just beginning in Mount Prospect

The Fourth of July is over, but summer fun in Mount Prospect isn't. Here are a few upcoming events to get on your calender:

Entertainment will include Rolling Thunder (winner of the Mount Prospect library's Battle of the Bands) and 3-Car Garage. A John Lennon tribute band called Instant Karma will headline. The moonwalk, climbing wall, pony rides and a mini-ferris wheel will keep the kids busy from 4 to 9 p.m.

Admission to everything free.
