Vendor outreach program welcomed

I would like to thank DuPage County for hosting the Vendor Outreach Expo. The county took the time to reach out to local vendors and assist them with an educational understanding of the counties procurement process. In our current economy, it is essential for local businesses to gain this insight and to be able to network as much as possible.

I applaud the county officials for recognizing the importance of this kind of communication. I appreciated comments from county board member Jim Zay expressing the importance of programs such as this to local businesses.

I truly hope that the County continues to provide opportunities like this to local businesses in order to rebuild the local economy here in DuPage County.
