Streamwood woman charged with tossing urine on couch
A 20-year-old woman was arrested Monday afternoon in Streamwood after police said she threw a cup of urine on a couch and love seat.
The owner of the furniture was moving out of a house on the 1600 block of McKool Avenue and the items had been placed outside so she could retrieve them later, Streamwood police said.
But before the owner could pick up her brown furniture, police said Erica M. Gagnon, of the 6600 block of Church Street in Hanover Park, threw a cup of urine all over the two pieces - an act witnessed by a neighbor.
Gagnon was arrested around 2 p.m. Monday and charged with criminal damage to property, police said.
A relative of Gagnon, Aaron C. Maack, 25, of the 1600 block of McKool Avenue, was also arrested on the same misdemeanor charge, as police said he kicked a hole in the couch. Maack claimed he kicked the couch because he dropped it on his foot while he was moving it and he was angry, police said.
Gagnon and Maack had been asked by the homeowner to move the furniture outside, police added.
There's no word if the furniture's owner decided to keep the pieces. Gagnon and Maack's court information wasn't available.
