Armed robbery in Streamwood

Streamwood police are looking for two suspects who they say stole thousands of dollars in cash and checks from a man making a delivery behind a local restaurant. Police said the victim was parked in an alley in the 600 block of South Barrington Road at about 2 p.m. Monday when two men, one armed with a semiautomatic handgun, got in his truck and demanded cash. The men then took off on foot, possibly southbound. The deliveryman said his vehicle was recently burglarized in South Elgin and believes he may have been targeted. The armed suspect was described as a short, skinny Hispanic male with "soul patch"-type facial hair and wearing a black shirt and black pants. The second suspect was described as Hispanic with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye and wearing a white shirt and black pants.
