Blame the criminal, not the police

The mayor, the police chief and police officers did not commit these crimes. The act of murder was committed by citizens.

Those responsible were sought out by the law enforcement of Hanover Park, and those responsible were arrested and charged in short order.

What can any official in any village do when there is a premeditated act of violence committed? Why does the media immediately look at the police and not at the people who did these murders? What was a 16-year-old doing at a "party" at 12:30 a. m.? Who is responsible for that act? If a group of society and groups of "gangs" decide to kill each other, is the Daily Herald suggesting that it is the responsibility an elected official?

No, it is the responsibility of those doing the criminal act.
