St. Alphonsus Ligouri rummage sale: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday June 13; noon-3 p.m. Sunday June 14, St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic School, 411 N. Wheeling Road in Prospect Heights. A special pre-sale is open to the public from 6-10 p.m. Friday, June 12, admission is $4. Concessions available. Donations may be brought to the gym from noon-3 p.m. Sunday, June 7; and 9 a.m.-9 p.m. June 8-11. All items should be in clean, working order. Old computers cannot be accepted.
"Worlds Biggest Yard Sale": 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 13, Lions Park, 81 E. Main St., Lake Zurich. The Lake Zurich Lions Club will host "The World's Biggest Yard Sale." The park will be open for setup to anyone who wants to sell items starting at 6 a.m. Booth space is $30. To secure selling space, call Jim Lumsden, at (847) 691-4187. Farmers market: Our Lady of the Brook Catholic Community will be the site of a weekly farmers market in Northbrook this summer. The market will kick off on Wednesday, June 24, and will be held every Wednesday through Oct. 14 from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. The market will feature dozens of vendors, selling the freshest produce, flowers, organic foods, artisan cheeses, baked goods and much more.
