Roselle man charged with assault
A 35-year-old Roselle man is in DuPage County jail after allegedly pointing a handgun at his girlfriend's head Tuesday night, police said Wednesday.
Tod Davis, of 673 Rosner Drive in Roselle, was charged with two counts of domestic battery and aggravated assault with a firearm by the DuPage County State's attorney's office.
Officers responded to Davis' home at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday following numerous reports that a man was holding a gun to the head of a woman, authorities said.
When officers arrived, Davis and his girlfriend went back inside.
Police said they contacted the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System and the Emergency Services Team for assistance, but Davis surrendered before the others arrived.
Following a court hearing, Davis' bond was set at $15,000 and he remains in the jail, officials said Wednesday evening.
