Care, concern made accident less painful

Last Wednesday, our son was hit by a car at the intersection of Higgins and Plum Grove roads. We would like to thank the police for controlling the accident scene, the paramedics for their wonderful care and concern, the many people that stopped to help my son, the wonderful Lutheran General Hospital staff, and of course all his many friends and family.

Even though our son had many injuries, none were life threatening. In fact, the doctors all said just how lucky he was as these types of accidents are usually much worse.

Because of all this wonderful care and concern, our son was released from the hospital today - and will be able to attend his 8th grade graduation this coming Friday (May 29).

Thank you again to everyone that helped bring our son back home!
