Is this the kind of change we wanted?

Do you ever have the feeling that for the last 12 days (the new administration) that a huge steam roller is squashing our great country's constitution, rule of law and various freedoms on a daily basis? Is it constitutional for our president to fire the CEO of a corporation? Or better still, determine what wages are going to be paid, or even still better how about giving half of the company to the union members who work in your shop? Sound impossible? Not with the Obama administration. Sound like the country you're used to living in, or perhaps fought for? Of course not. We now have a president who is almost single-handedly deciding what kind of a car you are going to drive. It will be a green car. Few people will want one, if for no other reason that they are unsafe (visualize having an 18-wheeler hitting you). Plus, they are too small to carry the kids, the luggage, the football gear, musical instruments, animals, etc. And he now is pushing through Congress one of the largest spending bills in history (four times larger than any other president) and there is no end in sight. President Obama's latest adventure into the unknown is his cap-and-trade bill. According to Democratic leaders who are drafting this bill, it will cost the average homeowner about $3,400 each and every year in home heating and electric bills. And this in the midst of the country's worst recession ever. I would suggest Americans hold on to their wallets, but don't bother because there won't be anything left in them. We know President Obama ran a campaign to change the country, but I don't think anyone wanted him to destroy it.
