It's time to wake up, fight Stroger clan

I am sick and tired of the Stroger family running Cook County. We have been putting up with their ways and deceit far too long. Mayor Daley is a co-conspirator in these practices of nepotism and unwarranted high salaries. No wonder Chicago is behind the light-ball and crying poor-mouth.

I remember when George Dunne was president of the Cook County Board and I was proud to be a Democrat. I have faith in some of our state reps and senators, but honest politicians seem to be few and far between. The present Democrat committeeman is planning to run for this spot - he represents Hanover Township, has done nothing for us, but accepted a job with Stroger for $85,000 a year. So what can we expect from him?

I rest my case. Since it is our money being flushed away, it is time to line up good candidates for the next election. Every vote counts so stand up and be counted.
