Kaneland softball coach Hansen suspended
Kaneland athletic director Leigh Jaffke confirmed Tuesday that head varsity softball coach Dennis Hansen has been relieved of his coaching duties for the remainder of the season.
Kaneland officials would not say why the suspension occurred.
Hansen, a driver's education and physical education teacher at the high school, also is the boys basketball coach. A message left on Hansen's cell phone Tuesday night by the Daily Herald was not returned.
