To commemorate the library's selection as a grant recipient, the library is sponsoring a photography contest. Any photographer 14 and older may submit up to three images either as 8-by10-inch prints or via e-mail at photocontest@frgml.lib.il.us. All photos submitted must be taken in Fox River Grove and be accompanied by a brief explanation as to how the image portrays the spirit of Fox River Grove.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three submissions as judged by a panel and announced in the library's summer newsletter. The first-place winning entry will be framed and put on display at the library.
The deadline to enter the contest is Saturday, May 16.
