Random sights from Game 4:

• You couldn't blame the first fans to enter the United Center Thursday if

they did a brief double-take at the scene inside - every seat on every

level was transformed from red to white thanks to rally towels draped over each

one, making for quite the whiteout/snowglobe effect.

The Hawks' video mavens liked the look so much that they showed a sped-up time lapse

film of the transformation on the big screen twice.

• Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose of the Bulls dropped the ceremonial first puck

and then shook hands with Blackhwks captain Jonathan Toews. How fortunate is this

town to have a pair of young stars like that?

• Former White Sox catcher Carlton Fisk went 0-for-3 Thursday, swinging the lumber

from the left side during the shoot the puck contest between periods.
