Promises mean little in face of such hate

The charismatic President campaigned on a new kind of bipartisanship. He has and will continue to find out that the Bush haters have an increasing number of Obama haters.

The country was divided during the Bush administration and it continues to be divided during the current administration.

Among Republicans, President Obama's popularity is lower than Bill Clinton, Richard Nixon (29 points), Jimmy Carter (25), Ronald Reagan (26), George H. W. Bush (38), Bill Clinton (45), and George W. Bush (51) and President Obama - the candidate that campaigned on the promise to reach across the aisle and establish a foundation for bipartisanship - got a solid 27 points.

As a society we have become more polarized that ever before. He promised bipartisanship and he has not delivered and it will only get worse. What else can the conservatives expect?
