St. Charles woman denies guilt in body dump

A St. Charles woman accused of helping dump an Elburn teen's body in Chicago after his apparent heroin overdose at her house pleaded not guilty Thursday to obstructing justice.

Lindsey L. Parker, 23, of the 4000 block of Royal Fox Drive, was arraigned in Kane County Circuit Court before Judge Allen M. Anderson. If convicted, she faces one to three years in prison or probation, as well as fines.

Police say Parker threw a December 2007 party at her parents' home that ended with the suspected overdose death of 17-year-old Michael York of Elburn.

Parker and two others are accused of then driving York's body to Chicago, where they left it in an alley to avoid prosecution, according to the charges.

Her co-defendants, Jordan D. Billek, 19, and Nathan L. Green, 22, both of Maple Park, also have pleaded not guilty to obstructing justice. Billek is free on bond while Green remains held in lieu of $100,000 bond.

Parker is free on a $5,000 bond and due back in court June 18.
