Step up for America or remain clueless

On April 15 several thousands of ordinary Sons and Daughters of Liberty in hundreds of cities across America reaffirmed their belief in our Constitution and to the First Amendment.

Meanwhile The Clueless in the media and politics saturated the airwaves with disparagement of the very people who make this country work day-to-day and fight its wars.

Are these the best our universities can produce?

The most important achievement of the "Tea Parties" after validating our faith in the original meaning of our constitution is that ordinary citizens have awakened to the threats to their liberty in the form of overreaching government and draconian taxes and debt. Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and Soviet Russia learned the price of waking a sleeping giant - now it's the turn of The Clueless.

Most who turned out may not remember Samuel Adams from their history classes, but it was the "Sons of Liberty" whom he led that galvanized the American people for the Revolution and independence; yet, they are his legitimate sons and daughters. Many may not recall Patrick Henry's closing challenge to the delegates of the Virginia House of Burgesses, March 23, 1775: "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"

The Clueless have thrown down the gauntlet, and the American people have picked it up.
