How 'bout a 'dry' March Madness?

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the NCAA basketball playoffs last month. The games were spirited, and the competition intense.

However, the televised games bothered me. If under-aged binge drinking is really a brewing problem on the campuses of our large universities, why do these schools allow beer companies to advertise on these telecasts? This alcohol sponsorship sends a conflicting message to our young athletes and their fans.

If the colleges and universities share in the revenue from the television ads, they should put a full-court press on the networks so that we all can enjoy a dry March Madness that encourages a healthy and safe lifestyle.
