AU students to display research project efforts
A record 165 Aurora University students will display original research projects at the fifth annual Undergraduate Research Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, April 27-28 in the University Banquet Hall in Alumni Hall at 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. The public is invited. Admission is free.
Individuals and teams of student scholars, including 30 first-year students, will present research results with posters, oral reports and with multimedia presentations.
Fifty-one students will give oral presentations, 39 will exhibit posters, 13 will present a multimedia project.
During the poster presentations, visitors may question the student researchers about their projects.
Gerald Butters, assistant dean of the college of arts and sciences and dean of general education, is the conference coordinator.
