Is Blagojevich a 'photo phony?'

I find it interesting that former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich portrays his innocence through pseudo overt expressions; smiling, at-ease, confidence, arm around supporters, national (why national?) media tours, and typical politico "no problem here" aura. If I were him, pleading not guilty to charges brought on by the prosecution, and with knowledge that the Illinois house voted him out of office, I'd portray anger through fire-in-my-eyes, Illinois media tours, and other means, indicating anything and everything but the "no problem here" politico persona he's attempting to convince us of. When I look at media photos of him, I see a "photo phony."
