Dist. 220 chili, music fest raises $18,000
On Feb. 7, it was cold outside, but inside the chili, music, and hearts were hot, hot, hot! Thanks to generous donors, the District 220 Educational Foundation's Chili & Music Fest raised over $18,000.
This nonprofit charitable group raises funds to "bring more to the classroom." Classroom enhancements, such as BHS-TV equipment, are not financed by taxpayers.
