Thanks for your votes in District 94
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank the voters for electing me to the West Chicago Community High School District 94 Board of Education. I cannot begin to explain how humbling it is to have even one person go to the polls and cast what our democracy holds most dear, a vote, for you. I'd also like offer my heartfelt thanks to the many individuals that helped with my campaign. Whether you sent an e-mail to your friends asking them to vote for me, had a sign in your yard, walked door-to-door on my behalf, distributed literature, or supported me in some other way, I can't adequately express how grateful I am for your help. To the other successful candidates, Tony Molinaro, Rich Nagel, and Dirk Gunderson: Congratulations. I look forward to working with you, and the returning board members, to help Community High School achieve great things in the years ahead. The Daily Herald's characterization of there being more good candidates than seats available was accurate, in my estimation. With only 431 votes separating first and last place, the candidates who were not successful in winning a seat can be truly proud of their efforts. I urge you to stay involved. The district will face many challenges over the next four years. I look forward to making each and every one of them an opportunity. Thank you again for your trust.
