Here's the bigger story on COD election

Your April 8 story: "Faculty Gets Reps on COD Board" really misses the bigger story. The entire community was ready for the change in the College of DuPage board of trustees. The obvious lack of good leadership drew many out to vote to change the board. The faculty of COD is just part of the community that was disgusted with the turnover in president of the school and many other public missteps by the board. This is good for the community, and the new trustees have an obligation to make decisions for the benefit of the overall community and not just the faculty. I wish them good luck in a tough time.
