Registration to open at Dist. 129

West Aurora Unit District 129 will register children for fall kindergarten classes from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 16.

Parents are to register their child at the school where their child will attend. To determine which school, parents can call (630) 301-5620 or use the school Web site at sd129.org/transportation/boundry_locator.asp.

Children are eligible for fall kindergarten if they are 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2009. To begin registration, a parent must present: a legal birth certificate and two proofs of residency (gas bill, water bill, land phone bill, cable bill, waste reclamation bill, Direct TV bill, mortgage statement, home sale/closing document, current property tax, or home insurance).

In addition, proof of immunization, physical exam records, dental exam records and vision exam documentation will be required prior to the start of school.
