Illinois already has concealed carry

I know many people are excited at the prospect of getting concealed carry here in Illinois, which will allow them to protect themselves, their families, and even those they do not know.

It will also add Illinois as the forty-ninth state (if passed) for concealed carry with Wisconsin left as the sole state without. However, I remind them that Illinois already has concealed carry.

The politicians and criminals already carry concealed but who can differentiate between the two groups.

Chicago Aldermen stemming from a little known law in the 1880s are allowed to carry concealed weapons. Chicago has had a handgun ban since 1982 and an assault weapons ban, how well has that worked out for them?
