Apartment fire breaks out in Lisle

The Lisle Fire Department responded Friday night to a fire in an apartment on the 4600 block of Beau Bien Boulevard. Fire Chief Jim French said the blaze started about 7:30 p.m. in the first-floor apartment.

No one was home at the time, and French said the fire was contained to the unit. The cause of the fire is unknown, French said.

A damage estimate was not immediately available.
