Tony Ragucci, Oakbrook Terrace
So what's your new mayor like? The Daily Herald asked our new mayors and village presidents a few 'get to know you' questions Wednesday, the day after voters chose them to lead their communities.
Q. Who is your political role model?
A. I am not a politician. So I don't have a political role model.
Q. What is the first thing you want to change?
A. I really can't answer that. I am going to be in the process of putting together a transitional analysis over the next couple weeks. Then I will look into the future and what I have to do.
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. I was a Burt Reynolds fan years ago. I like "Hooper" and "Smokey and the Bandit."
Q. How did you celebrate?
A. We just sat there in our campaign (headquarters), talked and had a few cups of coffee. And let's not lie. We had a couple beers here and there.
Q. What's the last good book you read?
A. I love Mickey Spillane. So I read his books all the time.
Q. Cubs or Sox?
A. Don't even ask. Cubs.
