Q. Who is your political role model?
A. When I was growing up my role model was Everett Dirksen.
Q. What is the first thing you want to change?
A. The first thing I'd like to do is contact developers with the opportunity of improving our downtown.
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. Usually the last one I saw. I like the movie "Coraline," which they put out here a couple months ago.
Q. How did you celebrate?
A. We celebrated at home because we're having our party Wednesday night at the Brunch Cafe in Fox River Grove.
Q. What's the last good book you read?
A. The Shattered Sword, by Jonathan Parshall and Anthony Tully, about the battle of Midway.
