Weihofen gets bid to rebuild Lakemoor

Ryan Weihofen's main goal while serving as village president is to rebuild Lakemoor.

Unofficial vote totals indicate Weihofen won the top village seat Tuesday. "My top priority is rebuilding our town," said Weihofen, who works as a vice president of construction for a commercial pool builder.

With all 8 precincts reporting, unofficial vote totals showed Weihofen had 390 votes, followed by Robert Koehl (212 votes) and Ralph Brindise (116 votes).

After taking two years off from village politics, Koehl ran and won a seat on the village board in 2007 with the intention of running again for village president.
