Changes ahead for Dist. 127 board

Some changes are ahead for the Grayslake High School District 127 board, as voters on Tuesday chose to back three newcomers.

With all 38 precincts counted, unofficial totals show that voters elected Russell Chamberlin with 2,839 votes, Suzanne Swanson with 3,281 votes and Thomas G. Halloran Sr. with 2,757 votes.

The three seats have four-year terms.

Incumbent Thomas Meskel was ousted from the board. He collected 2,626 votes.

Incumbent Ann Dingman received 4,207 votes for a two-year position. She was unchallenged.
