Mundelein Park District hosts its "Spring Egg Hunt" for children ages 1 to 6. Bring a basket for eggs, and a camera to snap photos with the Spring Bunny, who will hop on over to the event. Children will be divided into age groups for the egg hunt. Adult supervision is required.

Reach for the stars
Meet NASA astronaut Daniel Tani, a veteran of two space flights who has spent more than 131 days in space. Tani, a graduate of Glenbard East High School in Lombard, will discuss his six spacewalks and what life is really like aboard the International Space Station. A question-and-answer and autograph session will follow Tani's presentation.

'Girls' Night Out IV'
Calling all ladies! Mangels of Long Grove hosts its "Girls' Night Out IV" event for women, with presentations on inexpensive home decorating, easy menus and personal care. Complimentary wine and appetizers will be served. Guests can learn how to make an indoor spring fairy garden, how to cook simple dishes with herbs or how to give themselves a mini manicure.

Swim over to the Moose Lodge
Stop by the Mount Prospect Moose Lodge 660 for a "Lenten Fish Fry." Lodge members are serving up battered and deep fried haddock, baked fish with lemon and butter, deep fried shrimp and fish sandwiches. All meals include unlimited trips to the salad bar with its macaroni salad, coleslaw, fresh vegetables and hot cornbread. Coffee and soft drinks are included in the admission price. Other drinks are available to guests for an extra charge. Proceeds will benefit Moose causes, including aiding needy children's homes.

Kids' Craft Morning
