Alessio invested in District 300
I am writing in support of Dave Alessio for the District 300 board of education. Dave is a property owner with three kids in District 300 schools.
Dave has been a very involved member of the District 300 community for almost a decade. He has served on several board committees and volunteered to serve as an interim board member when a seat opened up unexpectedly.
Dave is not a politician and has pledged that he will not seek any other public office in the future. He wants to serve on the board of education to represent us and our kids and because he cares about the financial health of the district and the quality of our kids' education.
Dave is a financial "whiz," and in my opinion there is no one better able to assure that your tax dollars are wisely managed. I once had a discussion with him in which I compared a program in our district to two other districts. He was able to explain the tax structure of the other districts off the top of his head.
There are six candidates vying to fill three open seats on District 300's board. Choose someone with strong ties to our community, with something to lose if our district fails. Choose someone with proven experience that will benefit our community and our students. On April 7, choose Dave Alessio for the District 300 board.
